話說英國最近幾年學(xué)中文的人越來越多,從小學(xué)到大學(xué),很多學(xué)校都開設(shè)了中文課。于是,對(duì)中文教師的需求也隨之增大,想知道在英國教中文的正確姿勢嗎?如果你想在英國做一名全職中文老師。一般來說,不管是小學(xué)還是中學(xué),英國公立學(xué)校和私立學(xué)校的要求不太一樣
但大多數(shù)學(xué)校都會(huì)問你有沒有英國教師資格證
QTS=Qualified?Teacher?Status
據(jù)說有些私立學(xué)校不需要這個(gè)教師資格證
但除非你的背景夠硬,像是Oxbridge出身之類
倒是可以去競爭下,否則呵呵呵
你們可以去試試
拿到QTS的途徑通常有兩種
一種是Teacher?Training教師培訓(xùn)項(xiàng)目
方式有很多
比如School?Direct
School-centred?initial?teacher?training
Graduate?Teacher?Program
……
一般來講,教師培訓(xùn)是沒有學(xué)費(fèi)的
(但School?Direct也有那種需要繳納學(xué)費(fèi)的,不過會(huì)有補(bǔ)助)
說白了就是作為培訓(xùn)者的身份去學(xué)校進(jìn)行培訓(xùn)
所以,這種是會(huì)給你發(fā)工資,但不是太多
?2015/16年起薪水平(年薪)如下

申請過程和在英國找工作差不多
首先申請National?Insurance?Number?保險(xiǎn)號(hào)
然后通過UCAS進(jìn)行申請?https://www.ucas.com/?schemes=Teacher_Training&theme=apply
另一種就是PGCE
也就是The?Postgraduate?Certificate?of?Education
相當(dāng)于拿教師資格證的時(shí)候
還能順帶拿個(gè)碩士學(xué)位證
這種是需要繳納學(xué)費(fèi)的
理論知識(shí)偏多,偶爾有實(shí)踐
比如UCL?IOE
Mandarin?Chinese?(with?a?European?language?or?EAL)
國際生學(xué)費(fèi)£12,300左右
入學(xué)要求:1:1學(xué)位
雅思7.0,單項(xiàng)不低于6.5
這個(gè)要求也是厲害了

要求遞交PS個(gè)人陳述和兩份references
然后準(zhǔn)備面試什么的

As?well?as?observations?undertaken?during?my?university?placement,?I?have?teaching?experience?in?two?schools.?I?volunteered?at?Bedford?Community?College?one?day?aweek?for?two?years?and?saw?that?teaching?is?not?a?9-5?profession,?the?hardworking?and?dedicated?teachers?were?both?caring?and?inspirational.?I?was?able?to?spend?time?in?their?student?centre,?working?with?pupils?temporarily?excludedfrom?lessons?and?developed?creativity?in?communicating?biology?by?connecting?it?to?examples?that?a?pupil?can?relate?to.?I?worked?with?groups?of?pupils?as?wellas?gaining?experience?one?to?one?with?individuals,?often?assisting?them?toidentify?where?the?task?can?be?broken?down?into?sections,?making?it?seem?less?overwhelming.?Mentoring?a?student?with?dyslexia?taught?me?the?value?of?drawing?the?answers?from?pupils,?not?just?giving?it?to?them.

From?January?to?July?2015?I?further?developed?my?classroom?skills?at?Bedford?Grammar?School.?I?worked?with?students?in?group?tasks?to?ensure?that?they?are?all?progressing,?as?seen?in?leading?weekly?corrective?reading?sessions.?I?was?able?to?observe?and?reflect?on?teaching?techniques?which?foster?authority?in?the?classroom?and?create?positive?relationships.?I?began?to?identify?different?techniques?being?used?with?students?of?different?abilities,?levels?and?ages.?Ihave?been?keeping?a?record?of?these?experiences?and?reflecting?on?them,?taking?different?ideas?for?my?own?teaching.?This?was?put?into?practice?with?opportunities?to?take?the?whole?class,?leading?up?to?taking?them?for?full?lessons,?stretching?my?abilities?to?plan,?time?and?manage?a?lesson.

Having?worked?in?retail?and?hospitality,?I?have?experience?of?shift?work?and?balancing?multiple?priorities,?as?well?as?working?as?part?of?a?team?and?as?a?supervisor,?sometimes?in?pressured?environments.

I?love?reading,?visit?the?gym?regularly?and?enjoy?sport?but?above?all?I?ampassionate?about?biology,?keeping?up?with?research?online.?At?university?a?team?of?us?ran?the?Biological?Society?which?was?helpful?in?developing?my?ability?to?communicate?diplomatically?with?senior?staff?and?students?alike.?This?experience?also?helped?me?to?develop?good?collaborative?and?organisational?skills.?I?would?like?to?continue?to?develop?the?skills?I?have?acquired?to?teach?secondary?biology?as?a?career?and?help?my?pupils?achieve?their?full?potential.
