What do you do with a paper roll once you have used up all the toilet paper? Most people throw it away. They don&apost think of doing anything else with it. But Anastassia Elias, a French artist, has--she turns paper rolls into remarkable pieces of art.

Elias selects paper of the same color as the roll, cuts small paper shapes, and then sticks them inside the roll using tweezers and glue. The placement of her characters and objects creates a 3D scene, and light travels through the tubes to create motion。

Her scenes include natural scenes, family shopping, visiting the zoo, children playing, a grandma sleeping, a soccer game and even an exciting boxing match. These miniature works of paper art are so well crafted that one could almost imagine stepping into them。
