【新詞新意】又是一年考研時(shí)!.

　　2013年考研剛剛結(jié)束，近180萬人的報(bào)考規(guī)模再創(chuàng)新高。這意味著考研人數(shù)已經(jīng)連續(xù)9年超過百萬，并且連續(xù)4年以超10萬人的速度遞增。

　　周六參加今年研究生入學(xué)考試的人數(shù)達(dá)180萬，又創(chuàng)新高。近幾年大學(xué)畢業(yè)生就業(yè)狀況不佳，報(bào)名考研的學(xué)生人數(shù)由此增加。

　　National postgraduate entrance examination就是“全國研究生入學(xué)考試”，也可以用postgraduate qualification exam來表示?！?strong>考研”就是take part in the national postgraduateentrance examination / postgraduate qualification exam。也有部分學(xué)生是不需要參加全國研究生入學(xué)考試就能讀研的，因?yàn)樗麄儷@得了“保研”(postgraduate recommendation)資格。

　　要被錄取為研究生，首先要通過全國研究生入學(xué)考試，這是qualifying examination /preliminary exam(初試)，在過線之后才能參加secondary examination(復(fù)試)，復(fù)試一般包括written examination(筆試)和oral examination(口試)或interview(面試)。在錄取之后，根據(jù)成績的高低，又分為government-supported graduate student(公費(fèi)研究生)和self-supporting graduate student(自費(fèi)研究生)。部分研究生是邊工作邊學(xué)習(xí)，此類研究生即on-the-job postgraduate student(在職研究生)。
